A power outage brought into fine focus the difference between guessing what’s important during a crisis as in yesterday’s episode, vs. learning what’s important since the power was truly out, but safely, today. The ‘data’ is VPN related and ‘money’ is nothing short of some ambitious 21st Century Wild West electronic bank heist the FBI is hankering to stop in its tracks. The ‘life’ aspect is Bitcoin’s tumble up and down. The latest down, I discover at the end of the episode, claims lives as investors are left ‘holding the bag.’ Tragic, but part of the fabric in spreading caution.
