Lately, the Twitter-guy and Facebook-guy (that brevity is explained in the episode) have made the rounds sooth-saying their user base. I never fell for it and thought it was pretty wasteful to travel around saying nothing substantive until it dawned on me that their words weren’t for my ears but to still regulator’s pens. Technology isn’t keeping its nouveau riche weirdness to itself. Without distractions, the public and the voters will notice what politicians have already picked up on: Tech’s money dance exists, but for how much longer?
Acronym exhaustion aside, IG laws are at the heart of stupid things people do. Here’s one of the simple things I wish were addressed.
Can we get a groundswell, people? The cafe here has some very revolutionary contemporaries in Europe who do what we used to “did.” They get rowdy when something’s wrong. Did we get sold the busy dream and lose the time it takes to organize ourselves to protest effectively against the time that’s taken from us?
